In December 2020, Latour Capital, an independent French private equity company, announced the signing of the acquisition of Groupe Santiane, an online insurance broker specializing in healthcare and personal insurances. Groupe Santiane’s Management team reinvested in the Company as part of the transaction.
Rationale
Latour Capital will support Groupe Santiane’s Management team in the execution of an ambitious development plan, built upon several strategic projects:
- Further improve the user experience for clients and distribution partners
- Build a strong brand in order to further increase market share
- Team-up with insurance partners to create new products that offer the best guarantee / price ratio on the market
- Invest significantly in human resources, which is the main asset of the Company

Founded in 2007, Groupe Santiane generates more than €70m in revenues and employs nearly 400 employees in 4 locations (Nice, Paris, Lille and Casablanca).
