ENGIE and Mr. Bruno Monnier have announced the signing of an agreement to completely spin off Culturespaces with the consortium composed of IDI, a listed group specializing in capital investment, and the Groupe Chevrillon. Bruno Monnier, CEO and founder of Culturespaces will retain a minority stake in the Company.

Created in 1990 by Bruno Monnier and with more than 30 years of experience and 4.6 million visitors per year, Culturespaces, is the first private operator in the complete management of monuments, museums and art centers. Culturespaces aims to offer an innovative model, focused on the visitor’s experience, to dynamically manage monuments, museums and art centers without public subsidies. Since 2012, Culturespaces has also become a pioneer in the creation of digital art centers and immersive digital exhibitions.
IDI, a pioneer in private equity in France, is a listed investment company that has been specializing in supporting SMEs and SMIs for 50 years and is controlled and majority-owned by its teams. The Groupe Chevrillon is a family-owned company which invests in industrial and service companies, new or existing, with the aim of turning them into national or global leaders. The Groupe Chevrillon is equally owned by the Chevrillon family and the Besançon-Trébouta family – founder of Laboratoires Delagrange now incorporated into the Sanofi group, of which the family is a shareholder.
