Disposal of Mondial Pare-Brise by Parts Holding Europe to Macif

On February 13th, 2023, Parts Holding Europe (PHE) announced that it has closed the disposal of its specialized glass repair activity Mondial Pare-Brise.
The disposal of PHE’s specialized glass repair activities was imposed by the European Commission following the acquisition of PHE by D’Ieteren Group.
Rationale
Parts Holding Europe (PHE) is a leader in the independent distribution of spare parts for Light and Heavy Vehicles in Western Europe, present in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy and Spain. In France, the Group operates on the BtoB market for the distribution of spare parts, particularly to repair professionals, via Autodistribution, and on the BtoC market with Oscaro, the French leader in the online sale of spare parts for light vehicles. The PHE Group, supported by its shareholder the listed family investment company D’Ieteren Group, achieved in 2021 a consolidated turnover of more than €2bn.
Mondial Pare-Brise is a leading player in the vehicle glass repair, replacement and recalibration market in France, with a national network of 806 workshops (113 owned branches, 260 franchises and 433 drop-off points). The Company has more than 400 employees (1,200 including the franchises network) and generated network sales of €146m in 2022.
